If you are interested in joining the Patagonia Program team to do research, here are the lines we are planning to continue and develop in the short and medium term. We describe the ideas on which these projects are based and include some guidelines on how we work as a team in terms of time requirements and articulation between the different areas of the Program.
It is essential to understand that the Patagonia Program works in a coordinated manner among all members. That is, we all do everyone’s work, collaborating for the integral development of the program (including, usually, logistical tasks collaborating with the technical staff). We avoid adding researchers to the team who are only interested in their research without sharing their time with the rest of the team and tasks. The program is made by all of us, so we need the support of the whole team.

This project aims to understand basic aspects of the ecology of this amphibian species endemic to Southern Patagonia, in order to know the status of its populations and to identify and measure the impact of the threats it faces.
Field work will be carried out mainly (but not only) in the Las Vueltas river, in the area of Chaltén.
Ideal for a doctoral project (although it can potentially start as a master's degree, but with the intention and desire for continuity).
