Patagonian program of Argentine birds
Installed in the northwest zone of the plateau of Lago Buenos Aires, in the Ea. La Aurora, as part of the program’s collaboration with the Hormachea Family and Tobiano Expeditions. They are located in an area of great importance for the Hooded Grebe, since the most successful nesting events in recent years occurred in this complex of lagoons, but in addition, this part of the plateaus includes an environment of great interest for the composition of its community, with typical characteristics of high Andean landscapes. “Los Domos” serves as a strategic point for research, conservation and management actions in one of the most remote sectors of the Lake Buenos Aires plateau and in the highlands of Patagonia NP.
